A new brooch in the Amanda Gorman series.
Amanda uses fashion as anther mean to communicate her energy and spirit and in this new series I have taken three of her iconic Vogue feature outfits and turned them into stick brooches. This particular one is inspired by dreamy dusty rose dress by Aliétte.
But of course piece about Amanda wouldn't be completed without adding some of her powerful words. The poem woven into the brooch is"Won't You Be My Sister" and the line that sparked my creativity was :
Hear me as a woman
Have me as your sister
On purpled battlefield breaking day,
So I might say our victory is just beginning,
